MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Waggle today announced the signing of Chandler Phillips as the brand’s first-ever athlete competing on the PGA TOUR, kicking off this week at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
“This is a huge moment for us,” said Travis Baker, Waggle President & CEO. “Signing our first PGA TOUR golfer has been a long-term goal, and Chandler is exactly the type of player—and, more importantly, person—we want to share this with.”
Phillips will be outfitted in Waggle apparel through the 2026 and 2027 PGA TOUR seasons, including wearing Waggle hats in competition—an opportunity rarely available to non-equipment brands.
“Owning the hat on a PGA TOUR player is a big deal in today’s game,” Baker added. “It allows us to put our unique designs front and center at the sport’s highest level, and to do it with an athlete who truly aligns with our brand values makes it even more special.”
A Texas native and graduate of Texas A&M, Phillips is known not only for his play on the course but for a lifestyle that mirrors Waggle’s roots beyond the fairway. An avid outdoorsman, he spends his time off the green hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his family.
“Waggle felt like a fit from day one,” said Phillips. “Their gear is about more than just golf—it reflects the things I care about outside the game, too. I’m excited to represent a brand that values family, the outdoors and doing things a little differently.”
Waggle, originally focused in golf, has grown into a lifestyle apparel brand inspired by outdoor passions and everyday moments—creating products designed to connect with golfers who live life beyond the course.
“We couldn’t dream up a better fit than Chandler. He’s not only a golfer we root for on the leaderboard—he’s a genuine guy our community relates to,” said Baker. “From his homegrown loyalty to his family-first values, there’s no one on the tour who better represents our brand.”
Phillips will make his first PGA TOUR start of the 2026 season this week at the Sony Open, marking the official on-course debut of the partnership.
